Seasons

Over the years, as my relationship with Jesus matured I learned there is much waiting on the Lord for his perfect timing for almost everything.

But there were times over the years where the Lord gave me instruction and he waited for me - to move, to respond, to act on. In my prayers I would ask the Lord about the promises he made me only to hear the Lord say “I’m waiting on you.”

It was hard to face, but I wasn’t doing everything he asked me to do. I wasn’t coming through on my end. Much like the never ending personal reflection and development, where there will always be something to learn always an opportunity to grow and mature, that’s how it is in the Lord.

There are no limits when serving Jesus. He can do it all in you, through you, and around you. When times are tough, he allows it for you to grow spiritually. For you to be strengthened and more mature in your walk.

There will also be times where the Lord will bless you. Blessings are great and they are something that you cannot earn but because he loves you he blesses you.

Then there’s the season of elevation where he elevates you so distinctively to another level or dimension where you are at a deeper place in him. Elevation takes place when you are obedient to the word of God. Spiritual elevation, mantles and callings, more knowledge, more wisdom. It’s amazing.

I don’t know about you but I want to go deeper in my relationship with God. Come in agreement with me today and take off the limits from God and understand he can do it all through you if you just let him and in the right season. Trust him.
