Love & Move Forward

Be devoted to Christ but also love those who come against you. Know when to say goodbye to people who came into your life in the name of friendship, but they challenged your very morals as a Christian.

Jesus is your truest friend (John 15:15). While we have free will, he wants us to choose his perfect will for our lives. Jesus knows all things from beginning to end and everything in between. He is all-knowing and everywhere and every “when” at once (meaning he is outside of time) (Revelation 1:8). He knows the decisions we are going to make before we make them. He is our first love and the one who wants what’s best for us. He loves each and every one of us despite how far we go in the wrong direction.

When you have friends whether the individual is in the Lord or not, it’s important that you allow Jesus to lead that relationship. Pay close attention in the Spirit to determine if that person is truly for you or even truly for Jesus. Jesus should always come before all else including friends. Speaking to a person more than you speak to Jesus weakens your relationship with the Lord (Matthew 6:33; James 4:8).

Discernment requires consulting with Jesus and his word to know exactly what you’re facing (1 John 4:1). Their evil spirits and demons that they contend with can attach themselves to you or your children if you’re not careful or if you did not make yourself aware in the Holy Ghost.

It doesn’t matter how close you are to them or how long you’ve known them, the Lord may direct you to remove yourself from their life. Especially if they are affecting your walk with God directly. I’m talking about the people that say they pray, say they hear from God, who may go to church but in solitude they are not crying out to the Lord, they aren’t honest with the Lord, and they aren’t listening to any Godly direction you give them. (Matthew 6:6)

I told one of my “friends” about something that concerned me in the spirit regarding my own situation and months later a minister reveals something to her regarding her own situation and spirits affecting them or their family. She then said to me that she didn’t know it was possible. If the people you minister to, don’t listen or learn from you spiritually or respect the teachings, or if they don’t apply it to their life when you share wisdom and knowledge, don’t waste anymore time (Matthew 7:6). The Lord has other assignments for you. Love them but keep moving to where God is calling you. Once Jesus directs you allow him to lead your footsteps (Psalm 119:133-136 )

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
— Revelation 3:20
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
— Romans 5:8
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
— Matthew 7:6
