Keep it Positive
There are so many ppl who avoid social media because of the “drama complex.” Im referencing the ppl that post statuses that are directed to one individual, a group of ppl, or a whole family in particular. That causes you to just give a huge eye roll before forming an opinion about their poor choice of “content.”
Whatever the case is, instead of posting on social media, the mature steps to take are to ignore their actions, pray for their actions or confront their actions.
Nothing is more character destroying on social media, than to post something that gives a spotlight to beef or drama between you and someone you’re friends with, dating, married to, a family member or all of the above. I’ve seen ppl communicating threats saying you know who you are etc. All the way to someone posting indirect memes or posts that call out an exact scenario between them and someone else.
Oh and of course! The inbox messages of ppl asking you “what happened?” Or “are you okay?” Or “were you talking about me?”
Be an adult, and either let it go and give it to God or confront that individual directly and let them know how you feel.
Nothing you post is going to impact them directly, you must face it like a mature person if you want to see a change. Or just love them anyways and don’t confront them at all pray for them and keep it moving. Keep your peace.
There’s enough negativity in the world, and so many other healthy forms of self-expression that you don’t have to make yourself look bad to everyone you’re “friends” with online.
Your private business doesn’t belong on fb. If you need someone to talk to find someone you trust and if you don’t have anyone you trust, you can inbox me and I’ll bring it up to the Lord in prayer.
Let’s kill this negativity spirit once and for all.
Sincerely, your sis Karli.
