God Hears You
How many times have you asked the Lord for answers or direction but you’re left in a seemingly still, quiet space just waiting to hear him. At times you can hear his direction but other times he may leave you with silence so quiet you can hear your own heart beating. If it’s your first time making your petition about that specific area of your life, don’t stop praying! God may want to see how badly you want it and will not answer you the first time you pray. God is not a genie and doesn’t have to bless you if it’s not in his will.
God wants to bless you but he also wants to know you and have a relationship with you.
Make it a point to have a great relationship with God by turning to him before every decision you make.
Make sure you set aside time to just worship and praise him for being who he is and not ask for anything in return. Just recognize who he is as the creator and one true living God.
Truly, seek after him and remain obedient, this helps to establish yourself in him. Obedience to the word of God is one of the most important things in Christianity.
Never doubt God saying, “Is God hearing my prayers?” He knows your needs before you know your own needs and he hears all of your prayers.
God has his reasons for everything and all of his plans are outside of our own understanding. Most of us have gone into prayer, kneeling before God, seeking him and relying on him for answers or direction. He hears all of our prayers and he answers every single one of them. Sometimes the answer is no or not right now. We have to trust that he knows what he’s doing. There has been times I moved before hearing from the Lord. I was left feeling like maybe I made the wrong decision. There was one time I heard from 2 different, unrelated prophets same message from God and after I followed through with what I felt was truly from God, I even questioned it later saying to myself, “Was I supposed to do that,” or “maybe I moved too soon.” This was me not trusting God. When you don’t trust God you doubt him. These small thoughts were seeds of doubt. Doubt that I had to recognize, deal with, and repent of.
Trusting God is so important when you’re serving him. Trusting him to catch you every time you fall, heal every open wound without leaving a scar, solve every problem. Trust is vital to your relationship with him.
Keep pressing forward in the Spirit.
