Don’t be offended

It’s my strong viewpoint that people will be people. Understand you only have control of yourself, there’s nothing you can do or say that will give you the ability to control another individual.

Not always will you reach an agreement or change someone else’s mind through conversation alone. Only that person can challenge their own mindset to think something differently than their current state of mind. Love them through it all.

You might be sharing a word that the Lord told you to generally share and spread to his people but someone who has experienced hurt or insecurities in the past (either directly connected to you or outside of you) they can feel #triggered and start a posting war where they attack your character in response on their own profile hoping that you’ll be scrolling and see their bitterness on display.

What is the end game by doing that?

Wisest thing to do about social media is - if you’re posting something about someone take it to that person. Don’t hide behind a post. Be an adult about the situation.

I love y’all and I post what the Lord leads me to post and if it affected you to the point of you being offended - pray about it. Allow the Lord to work through you concerning those insecurities.
