Love Yourself
Being secure with yourself and having true love for yourself can be admirable to others but remember you'll always have someone trying to catch up. Someone who was always jealous that they haven't arrived at the place inside themselves the way you did, spiritually and successfully. They will talk badly about you behind your back because they are too worried about you and not focused on themselves. You will hear about it.
The best thing to do is pray for them. Obviously they are having a tough time where they are at with Jesus and other areas. Calling them out for what they said about you is unwise - they will just deny it and have something else to say about you.
Only God can heal the broken and incomplete people in this world. I know because he did it for me. He sees all things and he sees the condition of everyone's heart. He is going to be just and fair as he always was and is, even if you don't see it.
I've heard women make fun of me or judge me for my situation and they end up being where I am but not able to cope with it like I was able to. I wouldn't wish this hard life that I have on anyone. For whatever reason Jesus brought them through the same valley I was in and I don't believe in coincidence.
Even if they do these things be sure to keep love for them in your heart. Keep them in your prayers. Love them when they can't love themselves. Remember you only have one enemy and that is the devil himself (Ephesians 6:12)
Everyone needs the love of God through all of us. Don’t lose sight that they are in fact your brother and sister no matter what they do against you.
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.”
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
“For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.”
“ [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Philippians 2:3 - [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”
